Mmmmm, Grande Jell-o Shots. Well, “shot” might be stretching it - - perhaps something like - ginormous multi-layers of jiggly booze with whipped cream & a cherry.
Jell-o shots have come a long way. By combining one or two Jell-o flavor(s) with one or two complementary booze(s), the combinations become endless. J-Shots have actually delved into the art of mixology, & have also been the subject of online science experiments (testing for gelatin/water/alcohol ratios, etc.).
Here’s a twist/one step further: three or four Jell-o flavors each nicely paired with alcohol, fruit, and/or misc. embellishments, then layered in an old-fashioned sundae glass, and topped with alcohol-infused whipped cream and a fruit, spice or nut garnish. It’s not Beaver Cleaver’s Jell-o, but it’s still very klassy.
Flavor Combinations-
Purple People Eater:
Top- Chambord whip cream, raspberry, garam masala
1st Layer- Strawberry Jell-o, Absolut Citron, strawberries
2nd- Raspberry Jell-o, Chambord, raspberries
3rd- Black cherry Jell-o, Amaretto, cherries
Bottom- Grape Jell-o, vanilla schnapps, halved black grapes
Liquid Sex:
Top- cherry brandied whip cream, cherry, chocolate drizzle
1st- Berry blue Jell-o, Blue Curacao, blueberries
2nd- Grape Jell-o, Gin, mini marshmallows
Bottom- Cherry Jell-o, cherry brandy, halved cherries
Optional: handcuffs around glass stem
Iron Hindu:
Top- Apricot brandied whip cream, pistachio, ground cardamom
1st- Apricot Jell-o, apricot brandy
2nd- Pistachio pudding, coconut milk, pistachios
Bottom- Apricot Jell-o, vanilla schnapps & apricots
Margarita:
Top- Coarse salt or sugar on the rim, or Triple Sec whip cream & cherry
1st- Black cherry Jell-o, Blue Curacao, halved cherries

Bottom- Orange Jell-o, Triple sec, cutie oranges
Bellini:
Top- Peach brandied whip cream, peach, nutmeg

Caribbean Queen:
Top- Coconut rum whip cream, watermelon, ground allspice
1st- Pineapple Jell-o, banana liqueur, bananas
2nd- Orange Jell-o, Triple sec, mandarin oranges
Bottom- Watermelon Jell-o, coconut rum, watermelon
Religious Rebellion:
Top/Heaven- Vanilla whipped cream & cherry
1st- Cherry Jell-o (virginal: no alcohol, no fruit, no nuts)
2nd- Lime Jell-o, Sprite, mini marshmallows
3rd- Orange Jell-o, caffeinated Mountain Dew, shredded decency or carrots
Bottom/Hell- Black cherry Jell-o, cherry schnapps, red hots

Careful now:
Obviously this amount of alcoholic gelatin is a much larger serving than a typical Jell-o shot, so use less booze and more water or fruit juice per regular J-Shot recipe.
