Gourmet Magazine has its very own website, free from the generic assemblage of Epicurious. It’s great. It’s perfect! It finally feels like Gourmet! The change is way overdue.
I bought my very first edition of Gourmet Magazine in February 1987 before I even had a clue to what good food or (as the cover promised) “good living” was. The cover's captivating photo, a food shop in Siena, lured me into the world of fabulous food, amazing wines and intriguing cultures, a place I’ve been obsessed with ever since. That issue is a treasured piece in my collection; leafing through its pages can still happily transport me to a whole other time & place, just like in 1987. I am glad some things stay the same.
